Second Chance Thrift Shop was opened in 1988 with a mission to support those most in need in the Summerville Community. Since then, we have awarded almost $1,000,000 to local charities through our Community Support Awards Program.

In 2022, we provided $161,500 in Community Support Awards to charities that supported our mission.  HELP of Summerville, Meals on Wheels of Summerville, and DCCO (Home of Hope and Hope's House) are part of the Community Support Award Program for 2022 AND the program has expanded!  Visit Community Support Awards page for more details.
