Grant Giving Procedure:

​

• Community Support Awards will be distributed once per year, in the fall.

• ​Applications will be accepted June 1-July 31, 2023.  This has been extended until August 9, 2023.

• First year of applying:  Grants limited to a maximum of $2,500 a year for any organization.

Grant Application Requirements:

​

• Organization must by a registered 501(c)(3) for at least one year.

• Organization and mission must align with the mission of Second Chance Thrift Shop.

• Organization programs must serve the greater Summerville area.

 

Documents Required:

​

• IRS Letter

• Current Board Member list

• Revenue and Expense Statement for prior completed fiscal year

• Balance sheet for prior completed fiscal year

• Current Year to date Revenue and Expense Statement

• Current Year Budget

• Current Year to date Balance Sheet

• No Handwritten applications

Operation Expenses

Organization Programs

Salaries

Ticket Subsidies
